ExamPrep Pro (“we”, “our”, or “us”) provides this Privacy Policy to inform you about our policies and procedures regarding the collection, use, and disclosure of personal and technical information when you use the ExamPrep Pro Android mobile application (the “App”).

By installing, downloading, or using the App, you agree to the collection and use of information in accordance with this Privacy Policy.

A. Information Stored Locally on Your Device

ExamPrep Pro is built with an on-device architecture. The following study information is stored strictly within your local device’s database (SQLite/Room) and is not transferred to any external private server:

  • Quiz & Mock Test Progress: Test scores, percentage results, accuracy statistics, time taken per section, and answer review histories.
  • Study Preferences: Selected target exam (such as SSC CGL, IBPS PO, RRB NTPC) and daily study streak counters.
  • Saved Content: Questions, topic notes, shortcut formulas, and flashcards bookmarked for offline revision.
  • Virtual Rewards: In-app coin balance and temporary Pro pass status earned through rewarded video viewing.

We do not sell, rent, or trade your locally stored learning data with any third-party marketing companies.

B. Information Collected Automatically by Third-Party Ad Networks

To provide free access to exam preparation materials, quizzes, and mock tests, the App integrates Google AdMob (Google Play Services) to display banner, interstitial, and rewarded video ads. Google AdMob may automatically collect and process certain non-personal diagnostic and advertising data, including:

  • Google Advertising ID (GAID / AAID)
  • Device model, hardware specifications, and Android operating system version
  • IP address (used to infer coarse geographic region for localized advertising)
  • Ad engagement metrics (such as impressions, clicks, and rewarded video completions)

Google’s collection and processing of ad data is governed by the Google Ads Privacy Policy and the Google Privacy Policy.

2. Device Permissions Used

ExamPrep Pro requests only the minimal permissions necessary for app operation and ad delivery:

  • android.permission.INTERNET: Required to communicate with Google AdMob servers for loading ads and verifying network connectivity.
  • android.permission.ACCESS_NETWORK_STATE: Used to verify an active internet connection before initiating network calls.

The App does NOT request sensitive permissions such as Camera, Microphone, Contacts, Precise Location (GPS), or External Storage access.

3. How We Use Your Information

We use the collected information solely to:

  • Deliver full mock tests, practice questions, scorecards, and flashcards.
  • Calculate test scores, accuracy metrics, and cutoff comparisons.
  • Support rewarded video ads to grant virtual bonus study access.
  • Ensure app stability, prevent fraudulent interactions, and comply with Google Play Developer policies.

4. Data Sharing and Third-Party Disclosures

We do not sell, rent, license, or share any personal information with outside commercial entities. Any data collected by Google AdMob is processed in accordance with Google’s privacy standards and applicable data protection regulations.

5. Data Retention and Deletion Rights

Because all quiz records, streak counts, and bookmarks are stored directly on your device, you have complete control over your data. You can delete all stored records at any time by:

  • Clearing App Storage: Navigate to Android Settings → Apps → ExamPrep Pro → Storage → Clear Data / Clear Storage.
  • Uninstalling the Application: Completely removes the local database and all cached data from your device.

6. Children’s Privacy

ExamPrep Pro is intended for young adults and competitive exam candidates preparing for government and banking recruitment examinations. The App is not directed toward children under 13 years of age, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13.

ExamPrep Pro is an independent study preparation application developed for educational purposes. ExamPrep Pro is not affiliated with, associated with, authorized by, endorsed by, or in any way officially connected with any government recruitment agency, including the Staff Selection Commission (SSC), the Institute of Banking Personnel Selection (IBPS), the State Bank of India (SBI), or the Railway Recruitment Boards (RRB).
