A. Zero Remote Data Transmission (100% On-Device Processing)

Battery Full Alarm is built on a strict privacy-first, on-device architecture. The App functions as a battery health monitor, real-time charging status display, full/low charge alarm alert, and charging history telemetry utility. We do not operate external tracking servers, cloud databases, or remote telemetry systems. Your battery diagnostics, charging history, and customization settings never leave your device:

  • No Personal Information Collected: We do not ask for, collect, process, or store personal identifiers such as your name, email address, phone number, physical address, contacts, or accounts.
  • Local Battery Telemetry Processing: Real-time hardware telemetry—including battery percentage, charging status (AC / USB / Wireless), charging power, electrical current flow (mA), battery temperature (°C), voltage (mV), and battery technology/health—is read directly from Android system battery broadcasts and processed strictly in-memory on your device hardware.
  • Local Database Storage: Your charging session logs (session start time, duration, charging speed, start percentage, end percentage, and target status) are stored inside the App’s private local database (SQLite / Room) inside your device’s internal sandbox storage.
  • User-Configured Preferences: Custom alarm configurations—including target percentage (80%, 90%, 100%), custom ringtone audio URIs, alarm volume, vibration patterns, voice announcement toggles, quiet hours, and dark/light themes—are saved exclusively on your device via Android Jetpack DataStore.
  • Local CSV Export: The charging history export feature generates a local CSV file stored in your device’s private cache directory and shared securely via Android FileProvider (androidx.core.content.FileProvider). We never intercept, copy, or upload your exported files.

B. Information Collected Automatically by Third-Party Ad Networks

To keep Battery Full Alarm 100% free with all battery diagnostics, custom ringtones, voice announcements, and alarm customization features unlocked, the App integrates Google AdMob (Google Play Services) to serve banner, native mini, and interstitial advertisements. Google AdMob may automatically collect and process certain non-personally identifiable diagnostic, advertising, and device data, including:

  • Google Advertising ID (GAID / AAID)
  • Device brand, manufacturer, model, screen resolution, and Android operating system version
  • IP address (used solely to infer coarse geographic region for localized ad delivery)
  • Ad interaction metrics (such as impressions, clicks, view duration, and loading diagnostics)

Google’s processing of advertising data is governed by the Google Ads Privacy Policy and the Google Privacy Policy.

2. Device Permissions and Why They Are Needed

Battery Full Alarm requests only the permissions strictly required to monitor battery levels while charging, ring audible and vibrating alarms when your target is reached, and serve ads:

  • android.permission.FOREGROUND_SERVICE and android.permission.FOREGROUND_SERVICE_SPECIAL_USE: Required to run a reliable low-power foreground monitoring service while the phone is plugged into a charger, ensuring the alarm triggers immediately when your target threshold (e.g., 80% or 100%) is achieved even when your screen is off.
  • android.permission.POST_NOTIFICATIONS: Required on Android 13+ (API level 33+) to display real-time charging status in your notification drawer and deliver high-priority heads-up alert notifications when the battery target is reached.
  • android.permission.VIBRATE: Used to pulse device vibration in rhythmic alarm patterns when battery thresholds or overheat limits are reached.
  • android.permission.WAKE_LOCK: Used temporarily when an alarm fires to wake the device screen and alert you to unplug your charger.
  • android.permission.RECEIVE_BOOT_COMPLETED: Used to automatically restore your active battery monitoring preferences after your device reboots.
  • android.permission.INTERNET: Required solely to load banner, native mini, and interstitial advertisements from Google AdMob servers.
  • android.permission.ACCESS_NETWORK_STATE: Used by the Google Mobile Ads SDK to verify network availability before requesting ad content.
  • android.permission.BIND_QUICK_SETTINGS_TILE: Allows you to toggle the battery alarm monitor directly from your Android system Quick Settings notification shade.
  • Android FileProvider (androidx.core.content.FileProvider): Used to securely share your exported charging history CSV to your email or drive apps without exposing raw device file paths.

The App does NOT request or access sensitive capabilities such as Camera, Microphone, Contacts, GPS Location, SMS, Call Logs, or Phone State.

3. How We Use Your Information

We utilize permissions and on-device technical data solely to:

  • Monitor real-time battery percentage, charging current, voltage, and temperature while charging.
  • Sound audible alarms, voice prompts, and vibration alerts when your battery reaches your chosen percentage (e.g., 80% battery protection or 100% full charge).
  • Sound thermal protection alarms if your battery exceeds safe temperature limits while fast charging.
  • Record and display local charging session history logs and calculate charging efficiency metrics.
  • Display banner, native mini, and interstitial ads through Google AdMob to keep the application 100% free for all users.
  • Prevent fraudulent ad impressions and comply with Google Play Developer Program policies.

4. Data Sharing and Third-Party Disclosures

We do not sell, rent, monetize, license, or transfer your personal data, charging records, or hardware diagnostics to any third parties, brokers, or data aggregators. The only third-party service integrated into the application is Google AdMob, which operates subject to Google’s privacy and security standards in compliance with international privacy regulations (including GDPR and CCPA).

5. Data Retention and User Deletion Rights

Because all charging histories and user settings are stored exclusively on your local device:

  • You retain 100% ownership and control over your data at all times.
  • Clearing History: You can permanently wipe all recorded charging sessions at any time by tapping Clear History inside the App’s History screen.
  • Resetting Settings: You can reset all alarm tones, thresholds, and configurations by tapping Reset All Settings in the Settings screen.
  • Clearing Application Storage: You can delete all local databases and preferences through Android Settings → Apps → Battery Full Alarm → Storage → Clear Data / Clear Storage.
  • Uninstalling the App: Uninstalling the App instantly and permanently removes all stored history, database files, and preferences from your device hardware.

6. Children’s Privacy

Battery Full Alarm is a general-purpose battery utility tool and is not directed at children under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect or solicit personal information from children under 13.
